Before you start

This page collects technical information about your browser and device to show you a diagnostic report. Here's exactly what happens:

  • Browser, device, display, and language data is read locally in your browser.
  • To determine your IP address and approximate location, the page contacts third-party services (ipapi.co / ipwho.is).
  • To determine your precise location (GPS), the page also uses your browser's built-in location prompt as part of this same consent.
  • For the speed test (only when you click it), the page exchanges data with speed.cloudflare.com.
  • To show which headers the server sees, the page contacts httpbin.org.
  • A summary of these results (browser/device type, connection quality, approximate location, VPN check, and speed test numbers — no exact GPS, no fingerprint hashes) is sent to the page maintainer's private reporting channel to track aggregate network statistics. It is not shared publicly.

Browser and device data is read locally in your browser. To determine IP address and location, the page contacts ipapi.co / ipwho.is; for the speed test, speed.cloudflare.com; to show request headers, httpbin.org. A summary of results is sent to the page maintainer's private reporting channel for aggregate statistics — see the consent notice for details. The VPN/proxy assessment is heuristic, based on provider type, timezone match, and a WebRTC leak check — it can be wrong.
